Ode - Set of two wine glasses
As the Japanese windchimes announce the arrival of breeze through a soothing sound,as two Italian glasses clink to share a moment of happinessin a loud event; new melodies are created.
Blending these two strongly different cultures, ODE is a set of two wine glasses designed to communicate & bond with that friend across the room.
Using the voice of wind, the clapper below the chalice clinks away as the glass is twirled or shaken allowing a remote toast filling the joyous occasion with music.

Ode was being sold in Rinascente, Milan, Italy. It was displayed at Milan Design week 2017, 2019.
It was designed in partnership with Guiseppe Galetta and Shunya Sugawara.
